The complexity of modern property sales demands a sophisticated approach with the Internet playing an increasingly important role. SwiftMLS, a website application conceptualised by Dwayne Downham, son of one of Western Cape’s most well-known property agents, Sharon Downham, began as a simple web application tool to assist Sharon with basic administrative tasks vital to the success of a real estate agent.

Dwayne commissioned family friend, Mikhail Kennekam, to develop the application. Its success reached other agents who expressed their need for it. SwiftMLS has since evolved to offer property agents an online marketing tool with a holistic property sales and administration solution, including a multi-listing system. With its advanced functionality, SwiftMLS is at the forefront of technology and property sales, currently with no other site offering a single site with multiple service offerings.

The application continued to evolve as the demands from agents increased. SwiftMLS added additional functionality for agents to generate reports, broadcast information to all agents on the “Broadcast Wall”, generate and convert other agencies’ listing cards into their own with one click of a button, agent profiles, including their own stock listings, and so much more.

The SwiftMLS website has evolved into an informal social site for agents, a critical marketing tool and, most of all, it brings agents together with the purpose of increasing your property sales and to make your administration hassle-free. The key benefit: selling your clients’ properties faster and more efficiently.

To the Seller or buyer:

We offer a professional website, tailor-made for agents, where you can advertise your properties and upload detailed descriptions, photos and video footage of your listed properties. SwifMLS is designed for buyers to select an agency to market their property.

The uniqueness of SwiftMLS and a key advantage is that all agent members are able to view and sell other agents’ listed properties. The key benefit being: you do not have one agent selling a property, but more than 300 registered members representing the property.

Commission is split between the agent who listed the property and the agent who secures the sale.
